Hey folks! Just an update here for all of you who are looking to stay at the Holiday Inn Georgetown for the group rate.
Cost will be $109/night with and the block is for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights. To make a reservation, please call (202) 338-4600 Monday thru Friday, 9am to 4pm and ask for group sales.
Group rate pricing for Convention has ended. Anyone who wishes to book now must pay regular price, or find alternate lodging. Some options are listed below.
For folks’ information, the rooms in the block are 2 double beds, but if you decide you want to pay a little extra and get two queen beds, the room also comes with a pull-out sofa, so that might be a good option for groups that want to split between 6 people. I was not able to get information about how many rooms in the block are left, so please call as soon as possible.
For those that may want to pay a little more to avoid the late-night convention atmosphere, there is Savoy Suites Hotel a little further north on Wisconsin Ave NW for $104/night. The Georgetown Hill Inn, which is slightly further south on Wisconsin Ave NW seems to be a bit more expensive, but currently has a special rate of $149/night. And finally, for those that may want to drive a little bit, there’s a Days Inn at 4400 Connecticut Ave NW that is only $80/night. I’m not sure at all about the availability of rooms or what sort of neighborhood the Days Inn might be in, but those are a few other options.
